Our Story

We began as a small group of people living and working in carceral settings, with the goal of providing safety and support in managing the cycle of addiction, violence, and incarceration. Since then, we have grown to include community-based services and are committed to bridging the divide from incarceration to empowerment.

Founded in 2022, Milestone Community Wellness is a 501(c)3 nonprofit based in Northeast Colorado. We are a licensed recovery support services organization (RSSO) and are dedicated to the ethos of peer-run, peer-driven services.

We believe in many pathways to recovery, including harm reduction practices medication-assisted treatment. In addition, we provide mobile services in order to minimize geographic and financial barriers to support. We work with people who are incarcerated to provide continuity of care during their transition process and a supportive community of people on the other side of the walls.
